FAT MIKE OF NOFX AND THE PUNK ROCK MUSEUM

Fat Mike reads Damone Ramone in a perfect setting. “Open it anywhere,” Danny says.

On April 1, 2023, “Fat Mike” Burkett of NOFX opened a 12,000 square foot Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas dedicated to all things punk. Mike and his team of punk superstars have assembled an astounding collection of artifacts showcasing punk music, history and culture. The museum offers a wedding chapel, tattoo parlor, and bar. Museum visitors can actually play instruments used by NOFX, Rise Against, Pennywise, Sick of it All, Strung Out, and many more fantastic bands.

The Punk Rock Museum offers guided tours: you might find yourself learning more about punk from Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hütz or Black Flag’s Dez Cadena. The Punk Rock Museum has been featured in the Smithsonian Magazine and the New York Times. Damone Ramone is available in the Punk Rock Museum’s book section or here. Like NOFX that avoided major labels to remain independent, Damone Ramone is 100% DIY.
